Liz Ventimiglia joined General Motors in January 2021 as a Director on the Global Corporate Development and M&A team. She leads EV, EVI and Fuel Cell initiatives for the Corporate Development team.
Prior to joining General Motors Liz served in a variety of roles at Ernst & Young. Her last role she served as the Americas TAS Acquisitions Leader which encompassed the sourcing, closing and integration of acquisitions into the firm’s Strategy & Transaction practice. Prior to that role she spent nearly ten years in the firm’s Investment Banking practice covering mid-market automotive businesses serving as an advisor on both the buy and sell-side. She led numerous banking transactions within the automotive and industrials sector with a typical deal value between $100m and $700m. She also spent significant time working with the restructuring and business valuation practices advising both distressed and non-distressed businesses on strategic alternatives and potential deal
structures. Liz has extensive sector expertise in a variety of industries including automotive, transportation, paper & packaging and business services. Prior to joining EY, Liz worked in investor relations at American Axle, a publicly traded automotive supplier in Detroit, MI.
Liz received a B.A. in economics from Michigan State University and holds FINRA Series 63, 79 and 28 licenses. A native of metro Detroit, Liz has always been close to the automotive industry with her father and grandfather spending their entire careers working in the field.
