Since July 2019, Jaroslav Neverovic is Chief Advisor to the President of Lithuania for the Environment and Infrastructure, advancing Green Lithuania's political goals. Jaroslav served as Minister of Energy of Lithuania from 2012 to 2014, and also as Chairman of the Energy Council during the Lithuanian Presidency of the EU Council. During his tenure, he worked towards legal ownership unbundling in Lithuania’s gas sector, the construction of the LNG FSRU terminal project, and a successful contract for the supply of LNG, breaking the monopoly of gas supply in the Baltic States.

Before joining the President’s team, Mr. Neverovic helped set up and implement an investment strategy at the Energy and Infrastructure Baltic Fund from 2015 to 2019. He was previously the CEO of LitPol Link, a company responsible for high-voltage transmission line interconnection between Lithuania and Poland.

Mr. Neverovic holds a Master’s Degree from the Warsaw School of Economics in the field of International Political and Economic Relations. He is currently in progress towards his PhD on renewable energy efficiency, economic climate neutrality, and sustainable development through joint doctoral studies program at the Lithuanian Energy Institute, Kaunas University of Technology, and Klaipėda University.
