Hoi Ying So is the Global Portfolio Manager of IFC’s Disruptive Technologies and Venture Capital team. In addition to co-leading the delivery of IFC’s investment program of early equity investments in the VC space, Hoi Ying provides portfolio management leadership for IFC's global ventures.

Previously, Hoi Ying served as a clean tech venture investment officer, and sector lead in IFC’s Global Energy team for distributed power generation, where she developed investment strategies in emerging sub-sectors. Prior to that, Hoi Ying worked with RNK Capital, as part of the investment team focused on emissions trading and the carbon markets.

Hoi Ying holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University.
