Jason Bordoff is one of the world's leading energy and climate policy experts, columnist and researcher. He is Co-founding Dean of the Columbia Climate School, Founding Director of the Center on Global Energy Policy, and Professor of Professional Practice in International and Public Affairs at Columbia University SIPA.

During his career, Jason has served as Special Assistant to President Barack Obama and Senior Director for Energy and Climate Change on the Staff of the National Security Council, holding various senior policy positions in White House councils. He is a columnist for Foreign Policy magazine, and is frequently featured on major news outlets, including NPR, Bloomberg, CNBC, BBC, the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and more.

Bordoff graduated with honors from Harvard Law School, holds an MLitt degree from Oxford University, and a BA magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University.
